Patricia A. “Pat” Davis, 72, of Venice, Fla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Clare Bridge Senior Living Facility.

She was born Nov. 17, 1939, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Marjorie Adorjan.

Patricia moved to Venice in 1944. She graduated from Venice High School in 1957. On Aug. 2, 1958, she married A. Ferold “Pud” Davis in Venice. Pat was employed as an insurance agent for State Farm in Englewood, Fla., from 1978 through 2005, forming lifetime clients and lasting friendships. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Patricia was an avid walker, and also enjoyed antiquing and spending time at their cabin in North Carolina.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, A. Ferold Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Kerri Davis of Venice; son and fiancée, Kevin Davis and Jennifer Okaty-Rose of Englewood; grandchildren, Joshua, Elissa and Alex Davis; great-grandchildren, Jace and Ariana Davis; sisters, Mimi Stack and Barbara Prine; and brother, Bud Adorjan.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, with funeral services to follow at Englewood United Methodist Church.
