Advisor Betsy Carr introduces L.A. Ainger Middle School student peer mediators to Englewood Community Presbyterian Church. The church gave the middle school mediators its annual peacekeeping monetary award and honored them at a banquet. The 24 mediators, selected from among 960 students, were cited as “the cream of the crop.”

Student mediators Julia Fair, Jasmine Morris, Lukasz Zajda and Kayla Faircloth demonstrate what happens at a typical mediation session. So far, 96 student conflicts have been resolved by the middle school mediators at L.A. Ainger Middle School.
