Rain halts Bobcats’ parade

NORTH PORT — Mother Nature threatened to rain on the North Port-Port Charlotte baseball game before it even started Wednesday night.
But the contest went three innings despite heavy rainfall. The umpires called it with the Bobcats leading 7-1.
