Venice Challenger Baseball for disabled youth is looking elsewhere to build its Field of Dreams.

The organization, which attracts hundreds of players and family members to its games, submitted plans a few years ago to build three smaller ballfields on top of fenced-off lime pits in Pinebrook Park adjoining a nature trail, but that drew complaints from neighbors who want to keep the area pristine.
