An adult eagle brings fish to newborn American bald eagles in a Placida nest. The adult eats part of the fish before bringing it to the nest, Wright says.

The eagle chicks will be one month old around Jan. 25. They are showing some growth and beginning to move around more in the nest.

Englewood area wildlife photographer Pat Wright has been documenting a pair of nesting American bald eagles in Placida from their nest building until the fledgelings leave the nest in the spring. She is sharing their progress with Sun readers.
