ENGLEWOOD — The Englewood community got a first look at the second stage of renovation to the Tom Adams Bridge during a public meeting Wednesday night at the Englewood-Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce.
The plan calls for installing new electrical and mechanical equipment and a new tender house for the aging drawbridge that connects Englewood with Manasota Key, and the widening of sidewalks to 4.9 feet to bring them into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
