Sidewalk construction
under way on Cape Haze Drive

Workers from Frederick Derr & Company are prepping near the Amberjack/Cape Haze bridge to pour concrete for sidewalk use.

PLACIDA — Construction began on the south Cape Haze Drive sidewalk from Arlington Road to Placida Road on Sunday.
“It’s a brand new sidewalk,” said Dan Quick, community development director for Charlotte County. “We’re pouring concrete sidewalk from Arlington Road to Placida Road.”
