The Charlotte County legislative delegation heard a mix of appeals from governmental and other agencies when the state House and Senate legislators met Thursday at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County.

Nearly 100 people, including Charlotte County commissioners Chris Constance and Stephen R. Deutsch, Punta Gorda Mayor Bill Albers, school board representatives, and social services, health care and higher education professionals — as well as homeowners and local residents — attended the afternoon meeting.
