ENGLEWOOD — Members of the Rotonda and Englewood area Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts and their Ladies Auxiliaries and friends will gather at noon Dec. 15 at Lemon Bay Cemetery to take part in the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony.

Wreaths will be presented simultaneously at 800 U.S. sites and 25 foreign sites wherever veterans are laid to rest. This year will mark the 21st anniversary of the Maine wreaths being donated to be placed on headstones at Arlington National Cemetery. Ceremonies also are planned at Sarasota National Cemetery and at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
