The Lady Bulldogs find out that the referee’s call stands and the Bulldogs are the winners in their match with Lemon Bay. The team is wearing pink long sleeve jerseys during October for their home games (except for senior night) to bring awareness to breast cancer.

Not even the promise of ice cream could produce a perfect night for the Lady Bulldogs. During a recent practice, Coach Laura White promised to treat the squad if they won the second game of their match against District 5A-11 rival Lemon Bay. Although they lost the second game, they did win the other three matches to knock the Mantas out of a tie on top of the district standings with the Bulldogs.

Coach White said, “I don’t know if it is the personnel or what but we just can’t win the second game of the match. We play good the first game and then everything falls apart in the second game. Then we have to battle back to get the win.”
