NORTH PORT — The North Port High School baseball team did just about everything right in a 6-1 victory against visiting DeSoto County on Monday afternoon.

“We did OK overall,” North Port coach Rob Rowe said.”We did a good job pitching, our hitting came on in the middle innings and we had good defense and base running.”
