Dugout activity keeps Scott engaged

PORT CHARLOTTE — Baseball players keep themselves busy in the dugout in a lot of ways. Some chat, stretch, practice swing mechanics. Some toss paper cups to watch them spin.
On Sunday, observers witnessed a new dugout activity when Tampa Bay designated hitter Luke Scott moved to the far-right corner of the home dugout and started doing pushups.
