PORT CHARLOTTE — Wil Myers spent most of Saturday afternoon in the back of the Tampa Bay dugout, watching. Every once in a while, the outfielder considered one of the best prospects in baseball would head to the dugout’s fence, where a coach would put a hand on his shoulder and offer a few words.
In the bottom of the sixth, Myers put on a glove and began to stretch. He ran out to right field after Chris Gimenez struck out to end the sixth, for one more spring outing with the major league club.
