ENGLEWOOD — It wasn’t a masterpiece,but the Lemon Bay High School softball team managed to take a come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Venice on Wednesday night.

The Manta Rays made four errors and collected six hits, but pitcher Brooke Carvey went the distance to gain the victory and raise her record and the team’s to 2-0.
