NORTH PORT — There was neither pomp nor circumstance when the final buzzer sounded in Imagine School of North Port’s first varsity basketball victory.

The stands — what there was of them in the small North Port facility — did not empty out onto the Mullen Center court in celebration. Confetti and balloons did not fall from the ceiling.
