Brittany White celebrated her 16th birthday Tuesday
as she wore a Tiara to school and a buckle that said Its
my birthday! It was not a good ending for White as the
Bulldogs lost to Lake Placid.
“It was a collectively bad effort.” Those were the words uttered by the DeSoto County girls head basketball coach Joe Davis after the 56-34 loss to Lake Placid.
After splitting their first two games on the road this season, the Bulldogs were looking forward to coming home. They were playing in front of a big crowd this past Tuesday. The varsity boys team was hosting North Port in the second half of the “varsity-only doubleheader” so there were a lot of fans in the stands.
