I don’t remember the last time I took off my high school football jersey. I was going on to play college football so the idea of never playing football again didn’t cross my mind.

Unlike sports such as golf, tennis or even basketball, once you finish high school, it is unlikely that you will ever play in an organized football league again. It is just too difficult to get enough players together to do that.
