A semi driven by an Arcadian man and hauling oranges overturned at 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 on State Route 29 near Sam Lane in Hendry County. FHP said the driver, Terry A. Moore, 42, of Arcadia, reported he fell asleep and the truck left the road, entering a ditch and eventually overturning. The trailer traveled more than 500 feet before coming to rest on the shoulder of the road. The driver had minor injuries, FHP said, and he was cited for careless driving.
