Miguel Angel Perez
Miguel Angel Perez, 53, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in Arcadia, Fla.
He was born Jan. 21, 1960, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, moving to Arcadia in 1971.
Miguel was owner and operator of the Perez Land Grading Co. He sponsored the Team Perez Softball team, and he enjoyed fishing and barbecues with his friends. Miguel was a hardworking man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his beloved wife, Agustina D. Perez of Arcadia; sons, Miguel (Laura Nieto) Perez Jr. and Daniel Perez, both of Arcadia; daughter, Gloria (Elijah) Rios of Arcadia; parents, Gabriel and Santa Morales Perez of Arcadia; brothers, Gabriel (Awilda) Perez II, Gilbert (Chavela) Perez of Ohio, Manuel (Rafaela) Perez of Puerto Rico, and Antonio (Luz) Perez and Gabriel Perez III, both of Arcadia; sisters, Maria (Ricky) Moreno, Millie (Ignacio) Carrillo and Anna (Harold) Perez, all of Arcadia, and Aieda Luz Perez of Ohio; and grandchildren, Devina Rios, Eliana Rios, Josiah Rios, Madelynn Perez and Hector Perez.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, with the Rev. Melinda Hernandez, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Joshua Creek Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.pongerkaysgrady.com.
