Kinsey Whidden, 1, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, just one day prior to her second birthday in Arcadia, Fla. She had been ill from her birth and had fought a good fight from day one.

Kinsey was born Sept. 23, 2010, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

She brought a joy and happiness to the lives of everyone who was blessed to know her.

Kinsey is survived by her parents, Claddie Savage II, and Elizabeth Whidden both of Arcadia; sister, Brooklyn Savage of Arcadia; maternal grandparents, Barbara Whidden and Kevin Ryder of Arcadia; maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Graves of Ft. Myers, Fla.; maternal great-great-grandmother, Alice Harris of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and paternal grandparents, Melissa Bell of St. Petersburg, and Claddie Savage I, of Arcadia.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at the Ponger- Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Roy Arms officiating.
