There’s always more to everything, and so today we’re wrapping up what we started last week about the ins and outs of that great, all-absorbing social network called Facebook. I wouldn’t say it’s addictive, but I’m having to write this between checking for new postings and comments on old ones. And like a lot of smokers and drinkers say, I can quit any time I want to. Really. Well, I could try.
If you’re a victim (I mean, member), you have to admit that Facebook is great for keeping in contact with family and friends. It’s better than free postage and free long-distance calls put together, I’ll venture to say. Not only can you exchange photos and thoughts, but you can chat live with them. And just like in real life when somebody’s knocking on your door, you have the option of pretending you’re not there.
