Sooner or later I figured that I’d have to do a column on Facebook. And I shouldn’t even have to explain what it is, where it is, how it works, or how addictive it is. Did I say addictive? I meant, um ... interesting!
It all started with MySpace, an internet community where you could post photos, collect friends, share thoughts and music, and stuff like that. Then along came Facebook, which took MySpace to a new level and suddenly began sucking in millions of followers as though it were a black hole in space, to which a bodacious vacuum cleaner was attached.
