The summer rainy season arrived in Florida. According to Florida’s Automated Weather Network, Joshua (DeSoto County) received the most rain in the State with 7 inches. Alachua (Alachua County) and Frostproof (Polk County) received more than 5 inches of rain. The majority of the state received one inch or more of rain. Minimum temperatures ranged from 67 degrees in Monticello (Jefferson County) to 77 degrees in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County). Maximum temperatures ranged from 89 degrees in Homestead (Miami-Dade County) to 96 degrees in Ocklawaha (Marion County).
