The Twentieth Century Literary Club met for a traditional Christmas party on Dec. 13 at Mary Margaret’s Tea and Biscuit in downtown Arcadia. Upon arriving, ladies were graciously greeted by hostesses Betty Aaron, Von Sica and Debbie Hackney and owner Dennis Tyson and the efficient, helpful wait staff. The array of beautiful antiques and seasonal decorations paved the way for a joyous evening.

President Pam Ames extended her welcome to everyone with a special welcome to guest Olivia Shelfer. Following a blessing given by Lavenia Carter, dinner was served. The ladies enjoyed a crisp, fresh green salad with choice of dressing, chicken marsala over pasta and green bean almondine. And, of course, the meal ended with the always delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding.
