It’s a classic case of local girl makes good. DeSoto County High School grad Kalynn Kingsley Green is leading her home health agency, Assisting Hands, into Arcadia to help seniors in DeSoto County. Green is a nursing student at FGCU and plans to graduate in 2013 as a Registered Nurse.

“It has always been my dream to come back to Arcadia and make a difference in the community,” Green said. “When I joined Assisting Hands earlier this year, the first thing I said was that we need to bring this service to my home town!”
