ARCADIA — Florida Governor Rick Scott paid DeSoto County a visit Wednesday when he spoke before a group of local business and government leaders in a by-invitation-only event at the Chamber of Commerce.
The overall message from the governor was that Tallahassee is more than willing to help DeSoto, but the county must help itself first.
