A quote on Page 2 in the Dec. 27, 2012 edition gave the appearance that Councilwoman Alice Frierson called former Finance Director Jorge Santana a liar and a thief. That statement came from a letter by Santana, and was not a direct quote from Frierson. Frierson denies saying that about Santana.
