ARCADIA — Few Arcadians are darting to catch public transportation, according to a citizen who took a ride on the DeSoto-Acadia Regional Transit bus on Tuesday.

“The equipment, the personnel, the timing, the scheduling all seem to be doing good. We have one small problem, as you probably are aware of, is we have a lack of ridership,” said George Lempenau, owner of Peace River Campground.
