DESOTO COUNTY — Thanks to a state grant, DeSoto County will again be experimenting with a recycling program.

At Tuesday’s Board of County Commissioners meeting, County Administrator C. Guy Maxcy said his office and the county Environmental Services Department have received many calls about the lack of a recycling program in the county and began to research how best to meet the demand.
