So, what are you doing Valentine’s? As I write this, I’m not doing anything. I am not currently in a relationship, nor do I know of anyone to ask out for a date; or to be more precise, who would go out with me.

But before you weep for me (not that you really would), don’t. Being alone on Valentine’s Day is not as bad as it sounds. It beats what happened to me more than 27 years ago.
