The second and third place paintings can be seen as soon as you come out of the elevator on the second floor of the Bartow Public Library. Judge Joyce King sadi the painting on the leftto her relfected broken dreams. She said she'd never seen anything like this. In the painting of the Native American she was intrqued by the colors and differences in the white sections as well as look of anticipation in his eyes.

Janet King, who judged the art entered into the annual Cornucopia show called this piece surprising and she was intriqued by it. "This felt like something from taken from the ocean," she said.

About 40 people showed up Saturday to hear a critique that judge Janet King gave at the Bartow Public Library at the annual Cornucopia show. She spoke about each of the 61 paintings entered into the competition.

Janet King called the painting that won the Eilertsen award (first place) said it was spot on in mood, intent, colors and said it was great.
