Lakeland Bassmasters win second place

Lakeland Junior Bassmasters took second place in both age divisions and secured seven of the top 10 spots for both divisions in the FL BASS Nation Junior State Championship June 22-23, on Lake Okeechobee out of Roland Martin’s Marina.

Logan Hill was second in the 11-14-year-old division with 21.45 pounds, while Dustin Bozeman took second place for the second year in a row for the 15-18-year-olds with 31.77 pounds.

Following Hill in the 11-14-year-olds was Jackson Williams in third place with 18.7 pounds, Joseph Crawford in fifth with 17.82 pounds, and Hunter Boykin in sixth with 17.77 pounds. Rounding out the top 10 in the 15-18-year-old was Luke Ferguson in sixth place with 24.86 pounds and Bradley Cullaton in 10th place with 22.52 pounds.

In the new BASS High School Tournament trail, Dustin Bozeman and Luke Ferguson represented Teneroc High School placing second with 56.63 pounds behind Boone High School’s winning total of 57.78 pounds.

Bradley Cullaton and Cole Schmucker of George Jenkins High School placed third with 39.45 pounds, while Jamie Eskdale and Jacob Rogers of Bartow High School placed eighth with 30.07 pounds.
