Lakeland Jr. Bassmasters held its April 5 tournament on East Lake Toho. Big Toho Marina gave rides on a new Phoenix bass boat and Coastal Angler was there to catch the action. Rookie Wesley Womack got the win for the 11-14 year olds, while Luke Ferguson won the 15-18 year old group.
11-14 year olds
First: Wesley Womack had 8.06 pounds
Second: Jackson Williams with 6.8 pounds
Third: Roger Weigel had 6.12 pounds
Fourth: Logan Hill with 3.7 pounds and big bass of 2.45 pounds
Fifth: Spencer Carter had 3.12 pounds
15-18 year olds
First: Luke Ferguson with 8.14 pounds and big bass of 4.14 pounds
Second: Kyle Stafford had 6.12 pounds
Third: Ryan Thomas with 4 pounds
Fourth: Dustin Bozeman had 4 pounds
Fifth: Danny Lake, Jr. with 3.2 pounds.

The BASS Jr State Championship is scheduled June 22-23 on Lake Okeechobee out of Roland Martin’s Marina in Clewiston.
The Florida BASS Nation High School Series has a two-day tournament June 22-23 on Lake Okeechobee out of Roland Martin’s Marina for two person high school angler teams. This is the new series’ second event, the first being on Toho last month. The High School Series will then begins the 2013-14 season on Oct. 6, in Central Florida, but no named lake yet. Held in conjunction with the BASS Jr State Championship, the new FBFN High School Series will hold its second tournament of the season on Lake Okeechobee, June 22-23.
Open to all high school anglers, each two-person team must attend the same high school but does not have to be a member of a BASS High School club.
