Lakeland Junior Bassmasters held their Feb. 9 tournament on Lake Toho in Southport.
The anglers struggled, not finding the bedding fish they hoped for on either Toho or Kissimmee.
The biggest fish of the day was 5.85 pounds, caught by Jamie Eskdale.
11-14 year olds
First: Roger Weigel with 8.45 pounds
Second; Ben Jenkins had 6.4 pounds and big bass of 5.3 pounds
Third: Logan Blagg with 3.85 pounds
Fourth: Noa Johnson with 2.65 pounds
Fifth: Treton Wert had 2.3 pounds
15-18 year olds
First: Luke Ferguson had 12 pounds
Second: Jamie Eskdale had 7.15 pounds and big bass of 5.85 pounds
Third: Dustin Bozeman with 5.4 pounds
Fourth: Kyle Stafford had 5.15 pounds
Fifth: Jordan Stewart with 4.7 pounds
The next tournament is March 2 on Lake Summit.
