Vinzena S. Wardell, 31, of Bartow, managed to escape the grasp of law enforcement twice before finally being brought down by the Bartow Police Dept. K-9 unit Wednesday morning, Nov. 28.

At approximately
8:30 p.m, on Tuesday, Polk County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Wardell at her residence, at 2881 91 Mine Road due to failure to appear for a court hearing.
