Leo P. Gignac, 83, of Bartow passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Lakeland.

Leo was born in Windsor Ontario, Canada, on Dec. 4, 1929.

Leo was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Mark of Cape Canaveral; step daughters, Connie, Cathy, Lu-Anne, Cheryl and Brenda of Ontario, Canada; brother, Edmund (Joan) of Spring Hill Fla.; sister, Marguerite Hedges, of Minnesota; several neices and nephews.

Leo’s life will be celebrated at Mass Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church Kissengin St., Bartow, with Father Eugene Grytner officiating.

Leo has been cremated.
