Mr. Richard Gonzales, 57, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Bartow Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Gonzales was born in Crosbyton, Texas, on Feb. 9, 1955, and moved to Fort Meade from Michigan in 2008.

He was a plant worker for Stericycle and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bartow.

Mr. Gonzales was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Gonzales, and his brother, Basilio Gonzales.

He is survived by his brothers, Johnny Gonzales, Fort Meade, Louis Gonzales, Jr., Frostproof, Fla., Manuel Gonzales, Fredericksburg, Texas, Joe Gonzales and Jacinto Gonzales, both of Marble Falls, Texas; sisters, Berniece Valdez, Imokalee, Fla., Paula McDaniel, Austin, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade.

Rosary service: 7 p.m.

Funeral service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Meade with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
