I would personally like to thank Commissioner Wayne Lewis for being the only City Commissioner to respond to my concerns regarding my water meter being guesstimated for 3 months before notifying the billing department that new sod had been laid over the meter and was unable to be read.

None of the other Commissioners or the City Manager even had the courtesy to respond to my inquiry.

While the billing department did allow me to make payments on my $311 water bill, I can’t help but wonder how many other customers’ water meters are being guesstimated and then when finally read have a large bill like mine.
