Hazel Sellers presents a certificate to Rotary President Mat Chinault, Wednesday the club got from their participation in the Toys 4 Tots campaign. The Rotary Club collects toys for the U.S. Marine Corps drive and delivers them yearly.
Two police officers and a firefighter who has been with the Bartow Fire Department for three years were recognized and thanked by the Rotary Club Wednesday in the spirit of what the Rotary Club stands for: contributing to the community.
“These are the kind of people we especially like because they give themselves to the community,” Rotary President Mat Chinault said. “And if any of you would like to come back and be members of the club we’d like that.”
