Bell got OK to look at expanded park for new home

The popular Polk County Youth fair may be eyeing Fort Meade as a future home.
Polk County Commissioner Melony Bell confirmed Tuesday that she has had preliminary discussions with the fair’s board of directors, and had gotten a “thumbs up” to explore the possibility of moving the yearly event here.
