No injuries after helicopter crashes in St. Lucie

FORT PIERCE (AP) — No injuries were reported after a helicopter crashed in St. Lucie County.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 9 a.m. Saturday. Stuart News reports there were three on board at the time. The pilot, 55-year-old William Harward, and his two passengers were treated at Raulerson Memorial Hospital in Okeechobee and later released.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
