The beautifully restored 1920s bungalow provides an atmosphere of casual elegance, and a refuge for business travelers, Rail Fans, birdwatchers and other nature-loving tourists, as well as a romantic getaway. Sitting on nearly two acres overlooking tall pines, magnolias, and other magnificant trees, The INN is just a short walk from Folkstons historic downtown shops and restaurants. The City of Folkston, known as the Gateway to the Okefenokee Swamp just 10 minutes southwest is also home to the famous Folkston Funnel Train Viewing Platform. Business travelers find the small town atmosphere a welcome change from the big city and appreciate The INNs free Wi-Fi access. The South Georgia coast, including Cumberland and Jekyll Islands, is reached within an hour or less, as is the First Coast of Florida.Guests are always amazed at the size of the interior. Our wide hallways and four large guest rooms are all complete with private baths. Each guest room is uniquely decorated, containing its own private library, allergy-free feather beds, clock radios, phones, central air and heat, ceiling fans, robes, hair dryers, spring water, fresh flowers and other fine amenities. Two King guestrooms have gas log fireplaces, the Garden Suite adds a two-person whirlpool tub. Check-in is at 3 00 PM.
