Sixteen very special and spacious Cape Cod styled accommodations spread throughout six buildings on a peaceful three-acre compound of lawns, gardens and meadows. Walk the Outer Cape beaches, listening to the soothing sound of the waves, lapping on Cape Cod Bay or crashing at the National Seashore. Partake in some of the finest dining that the Cape has to offer, beginning here each day with a gourmet breakfast served to you at your own private table. The inn was built in 1830 for Henry Harding, a renowned whaling captain. Since that time it has been authentically restored and creatively redecorated. The common rooms are filled with the innkeepers extensive Waterford Crystal collection, 19th century country antiques from England and France, fresh flowers, and oriental rugs for a warm welcome to start your stay. Awaken to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee, sizzling bacon, one of our many delightful pastry items, and a different entree every day. Dietary needs are no problem, if we know in advance. View the gardens on our bricked patio, while enjoying your first meal of the day. On those cooler days, breakfast can be enjoyed on our sun porch or the dining room. After a day of exploring, bicycling, swimming, and shopping, end your afternoon with a visit to the new spa and remove any tensions that you brought to the Cape with a massage or workout.
